I am in shock as to how quickly things are happening. Yesterday, (Feb 25, 2009) the buzz here in Northern Idaho was about the pictures taken just north of Coeur d’Alene in Hayden (actually, looking at the picture I think this is in Dalton Gardens) and the armed soldiers doing training in neighborhoods.
Here’s a very good article on the roots of Darwinism’s racist roots. I wonder how many people know that underneath it all Darwin himself was a racist, and wrote about racial superiority. It was his cousin, Francis Galton, who was the founder of Eugenics, the “science” of racial purity (eugenics means “well born”).
Confronting Evolution’s Racists Roots
CBNNews.com – CROSSROADS BIBLE COLLEGE, Ind. – Darwin’s book on human evolution, The Descent of Man, revealed him as what John West calls “a virulent racist.”
“He did write extensively about how evolution by natural selection creates unequal races, and that in the evolutionary scheme of things, blacks are the closest to apes,” he explained. West is the author of Darwin Day in America.
“It’s not just residual racism,” he added. “He’s using his scientific theory as a justification for racism and countless scientists after Darwin latched on to that.”

Hosea Baxter directs reconciliation ministries at Crossroads Bible College. He says racism had always been around, but Darwin gave it an air of scientific legitimacy.
“Darwinism is one of the most dangerous ideas in the world today,” Baxter claimed.
“Blacks and Native Americans would be portrayed as savages, ignorant or people who could not be civilized [and had] no hope of being civilized,” he added.
Making Racism ‘Popular’
Baxter works with Charles Ware. He and Ken Ham co-authored Darwin’s Plantation: Evolution’s Racist Roots. They contend Darwin did more than anyone else to popularize racism.
On the last page of his book, Darwin expressed the opinion that he would rather be descended from a monkey than from a “savage.”
In describing those with darker skin, he often used words like “savage,” “low” and “degraded” to describe Native Americans, pygmies and almost every ethnic group whose physical appearance and culture differed from his own. In his work, pygmies have been compared to “lower organisms.”
One professor in the 1880s wrote, “I consider the negro to be a lower species of man and cannot make up my mind to look upon him as ‘a man and a brother,’ for the gorilla would then also have to be admitted into the family.”
“Since blacks were somewhere in the evolutionary scale between apes and men, they did not have souls,” Ware explained. “And since they didn’t have souls, some argued, ‘We don’t even have to preach the gospel to them.’”
Building a ‘Better Breed’
Slavery and segregation kept the races apart, but maybe even more dangerous was how Darwin’s theories led to active eugenics.
“[It's] the idea of trying to breed a better human being, often by trying to get the people considered defective not to be able to breed or have children,” Baxter explained. “And this was a worldwide phenomenon but the U.S. really pressed it further than anyone else until Nazi Germany.”
It led to the forced sterilization of 70,000 Americans, many of them blacks.
Then along came Margaret Sanger, founder of what would become Planned Parenthood.
“Margaret Sanger was very Darwinian and very much inspired by this overall idea,” Ware said.
“Part of the impetus behind abortion was to annihilate the black race,” Baxter added.
The ‘Concern’ of Interracial Marriage
There were also many laws to keep blacks from marrying whites. Baxter says lawmakers were made afraid by arguments in books like 1907’s Race Mongrels.
“If we don’t create this separation of the races, we’re going to create this mongol race, this race of, say, retards,” Baxter said of the book’s content.
But Ware, the father of four interracial children, says that fear was ridiculous.
“People used to say interracial marriage is horrible. [That] it’s going to destroy racial groups,” he said. “It hasn’t destroyed anything. We’re still human beings.”
Uniting through the Bible
Ware says he has dedicated his life and his ministry to undoing the damage of racism and “bringing red, yellow, black and white together based on biblical principle.”
In Indianapolis, Ind., Ware heads Crossroads Bible, a small college, but one with big ideas about racial reconciliation.
It starts with showing what the Bible says about race — a direct contradiction of Darwinism:
Race Only ‘Skin Deep’
In their book, Ware and Ham point out modern genetics shows racial differences are in reality little more than skin-deep, and quote a scientist who says race is “a social construct…and it has no basic biological reality.”
Crossroads Bible asks its students to push hard across race barriers.
“Get over the fear of failure, get over the fear of rejection,” Ware urged. “We need to be intentional. We need to find people, meet people, talk to people.”
“And we’ve got to figure out how to carry out Matthew 28:19-20,” he added. “How do we make disciples of all…groups?”
Christians like Ware hope to convince the church to reject Darwinian thought and accept what the Bible says: there’s only one race, the human race, and we have to love it in all its diversity.

Arguably, all Weltanschauungs are unavoidably religious in character because all of them must proffer a core metaphysical claim. Metaphysical claims have traditionally been the province of religions. The same holds true for the various anti-theistic movements that have sought to create a radically secular Utopian world. This series shall demonstrate the religious character of sociopolitical Utopianism, particularly the revolutionary faith that enshrined science as the chief means for ontologically transplanting heaven within the physical universe and apotheosizing man.
It is with Gnosticism that one finds the proximate origins of sociopolitical Utopianism. The Gnostic trappings of early sociopolitical Utopian movements are demonstrable in the various ideas promoted by Enlightenment luminaries. One case in point is Condorcet’s “doctrine of a coming Utopia, where indefinite progress would bring forth a ‘natural salvation’ of plenty and immortality” (Goeringer, “The Enlightenment, Freemasonry, and the Illuminati”). Condorcet’s doctrine of “natural salvation” merely reiterated the Gnostic doctrine of self-salvation.
Another case in point is Enlightenment luminary Voltaire. Linda de Hoyos elaborates on the Gnostic elements of Voltaire’s Weltanschaaung:
…Voltaire’s own anti-Christian beliefs are exposed in his 1756 short piece, Plato’s Dream, where he embraces the ancient gnostic doctrine of the universe. In this exercise, Voltaire not only peddles the complete separation of the material and spiritual world, but upholds the gnostic doctrine that all material reality is inherently evil. The corollary to this doctrine, of course, is that man is thereby excused from all compunctions to be moral, since he is a helpless victim trapped in an evil universe not of his own making. This doctrine was likely the source of Voltaire’s world view since as early as 1711, when he was introduced into the Temple of Taste, a secret society of debauchees who then forwarded him to England for further indoctrination in buggery. If the bible was the holy book of the Christian enlightenment, then the Encyclopedia was the inspiration of the Enlightenment. Here was a compendium of human knowledge dealing with arts, sciences mechanics and philosophy which swelled to some 36 volumes by 1780. Begun by the Atheist Diderot in 1751, the Encyclopedia bore the imprints of Voltaire, Montesque, Rousseau, Buffon, Turgot and others. Gracing the title page of Diderot’s compendium in the first edition was a drawing of Lucifer, symbol of light and rebellion, standing beside the masonic symbols of square and compass. This veneration of the Devil under his original angelic title constituted the religion of Luciferianism. Like some varieties of Satanism, Luciferianism did not depict the devil as a literal metaphysical entity. Lucifer only symbolized the cognitive powers of man. He was the embodiment of science and reason. It was the Luciferian’s religious conviction that these two facilitative forces would dethrone the “superstitious” institutions of God and apotheosize man. This re-conceptualization of Lucifer reiterated the theme of Gnostic immanentization. Lucifer, whom traditional Christianity regards as a spiritual entity, was rendered purely immanent. Now, Lucifer was ontologically transplanted within the human mind, which Enlightenment adherents believed to be a purely corporeal entity.
Diderot’s inclusion of Masonic symbols on the title page of Encyclopedia was quite appropriate. Luciferian thought permeated the early Masonic Lodge. In Morals and Dogma, 33rd Degree Freemason Albert Pike expresses unabashed praise for Lucifer:
LUCIFER, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual, or selfish Souls? Doubt it not. (321)
Freemasonry, which enjoyed a certain degree of prominence during the Enlightenment, would play a significant role in disseminating Luciferianism on the popular level as secular humanism. Basically, secular humanism qualifies as an anthropocentric religion and its central precept is synopsized by the Protagorean dictum: “Man is the measure of all things.” Whittaker Chambers, former member of the communist underground in America, provides an eloquent summation of secular humanism:
“Humanism is not new. It is, in fact, man’s second oldest faith. Its promise was whispered in the first days of Creation under the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil: ‘Ye shall be as gods.’” (Qutd. in Baker 206)
Indeed, the only logical conclusion that a secular humanist can arrive at is that man is becoming god. It is interesting to note that Diderot, who was ostensibly an atheist, would select religious personages such as Lucifer to adorn his “compendium of human knowledge.” Diderot’s appropriation of the “symbol of light and rebellion” as a core icon for the title page of Encyclopedia suggests a conception of human knowledge that parallels the fallen angel’s hubristic belief that he would make himself “like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14). Atheism provides the philosophical segue for the enthronement of man as the Most High. This enthronement begins with the recognition of a logical contradiction inherent to atheism. Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias delineates the logical contradiction of atheism:
[Atheism] is not saying, “I do not think there is a God.” It is not even saying, “I do not believe there is a God.” It is affirming the nonexistence of God. It affirms a negative. It affirms the nonexistence of God… anyone with an introductory course in philosophy recognizes that it is a logical contradiction. How can you affirm a negative in the absolute? It would be like me saying to you, “There is no such thing as a white stone with black dots anywhere in all of the galaxies of this universe.” The only way I can affirm that is if I have unlimited knowledge of this universe. So, to affirm an absolute negative is self-defeating because what you are saying is, “I have infinite knowledge in order to say to you, ‘There is nobody with infinite knowledge.’” (“Why I am Not an Atheist, Part one,” Let My People Think)
The only way to affirm the nonexistence of God is to lay claim to one of his core attributes: omniscience. Philosophically and conceptually, the claimant is already on a slippery slope towards to the belief in self-deification. Ron Carlson and Ed Decker reiterate:
It is philosophically impossible to be an atheist, since to be an atheist you must have infinite knowledge in order to know absolutely that there is no God. But to have infinite knowledge, you would have to be God yourself. It’s hard to be God yourself and an atheist at the same time! (17)
Indeed, to conclude with all certainty that there is no transcendent God outside the ontological plane of the physical universe, one must first claim omniscience. However, omniscience is a trait reserved exclusively for deities. Therefore, the claimant must conclude that he or she is a god. In this sense, atheism is not the rejection of a deity. Atheism is but a philosophical segue for the ontological relocation of God within man himself. Herein is the occult conception of man as an emergent deity.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) – The White House quietly announced on Friday that President Barack Obama is starting the process of overturning protections President Bush put in place to make sure medical staff and centers are not forced to do abortions. The move is the latest that will add to Obama’s growing pro-abortion record.
Existing federal laws already make it so doctors and hospitals are not required to perform abortions. Because those laws aren’t always followed, the Bush administration added additional protections.
Bush officials noted a pattern of grant recipients being unaware of or flouting existing laws protecting medical professionals’ rights of conscience. So, HHS enacted the new regulations to require grantees to certify compliance with them in order to receive funds.
In August, 2008 the Department of Health and Human Services proposed regulations to strengthen those existing laws. The regulations were finalized on December 18, 2008 and went into effect January 20, 2009.
Abortion advocates complained about the new regulations and made false claims that they would somehow deny women access to birth control even though the regulations do not limit or restrict any legal practice or product.
Three pro-abortion groups and pro-abortion attorneys general from seven states filed a lawsuit to overturn the rules and today’s news makes it clear the Obama administration is preparing its own move to rescind them.
Obama officials told the Chicago Tribune that they are opening up a 30-day public comment period, after which they will roll back the protections for medical personnel and facilities.
“We believe that this is a complex issue that requires a thoughtful process where all voices can be heard,” one unnamed official told the newspaper.
The Obama aides indicated the administration will draft a new set of rules that will clarify, but also likely lessen, the protections and enforcement health care workers enjoy under the Bush rules.
Three pro-life medical associations banded together last month to fight the lawsuit from abortion advocates and the pro-abortion state officials. Attorneys with the Christian Legal Society and the Alliance Defense Fund filed motions to intervene in that and two other lawsuits filed by top pro-abortion groups to overturn the Provider Conscience Clause.
Casey Mattox, an attorney with the Christian Legal Society, told LifeNews.com that the rules are needed so medical professionals have the security of knowing they won’t be pressured to participate in abortions.
“Medical professionals should not be forced to perform abortions against their conscience. Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, and their pro-abortion allies are seeking to punish pro-life medical professionals for their beliefs,” Mattox said. “Far from arguing for ‘choice,’ these lawsuits seek to compel health care workers to perform abortions or face dire consequences.”
Matt Bowman, a senior legal counsel with ADF, also weighed in on the case.
“For over three decades, federal law has prohibited recipients of federal grants from forcing medical professionals to participate in abortions,” he told LifeNews.com. “The arguments in the lawsuits themselves demonstrate lack of compliance with these laws and the necessity of the regulation they are challenging.”
The Bush conscience rules were intended to educate those in the medical field as well as the general public about the rights of medical personnel to treat their patients in accordance with their conscience free from discrimination or intimidation.
They also give health care professionals recourse to the HHS Office of Civil Rights and a way to press charges in the event they experience discrimination.
President Obama has already upset pro-life advocates with his move to make them fund groups that perform and promote abortions overseas and by his appointing numerous pro-abortion officials to top posts.
Obama had been expected to wait to overturn the conscience rules until after he named a new Secretary of Health but that process has been held up because his top choice, Tom Daschle, had to withdraw and his second choice, Kathleen Sebelius, is under fire for her radical pro-abortion stance supporting late-term abortions

IHOP Elitism and the Truth about Centering / Contemplative Prayer
IHOP has all different kinds of people – mostly young – and gives them a feeling that they’ve “arrived”. They are taught many ‘new’ ways of ‘worshiping’ and in doing so, they find themselves feeling closer to God than they’ve ever felt before. The rest of the world out there (and we’re talking about “church world”) are looked down upon almost as though they’re a part of the enemy. Church attendance, Bible study, witnessing – to name a few – are looked at as though the people practicing them are only being religious or practicing “religiosity”. How do I know this? An ex- IHOPper shared with me about how he was when he was “in the thick of it” and how he is now, since his “eyes were opened”.
One of the things Mike Bickle and Allen Hood really promote is Contemplative Prayer. I will be the first one to agree that new stuff always has a “wow” connected to it.
I remember being part of Word of Faith years ago (much error there) and thinking, “Mom and Dad don’t know what they’re missing by going to their church. I wish they could come here and really experience what God is all about.” The parents I was referring to loved the Lord Jesus with all their hearts and had been faithfully serving in their church, wherever they’d lived, for as long as I can remember.
Contemplative Prayer is no different. There is a definite feeling of ‘wow’ once you do it. The problem is this… Contemplative Prayer, otherwise known as centering prayer, is actually an occult practice. (Some reading this will say, “No way! I’d never practice anything from the occult!” So read on.)
Contemplative “prayer” is actually TM – Transcendental Meditation. But you’re not focusing on “nothingness” as in TM, no, you’re repeating a word or phrase from your Bible over and over and over.. T H E N you allow your mind to “go off” into a place where “God can speak to you”. A place of ..silence… Then you feel ‘God’s presence’, hear the messages He’s speaking to you and know what He has for you. Or so you think.
The Contemplative I’ve just described is identical to a TM journey. In TM you also go into a place of silence.. you also hear from the one speaking to you about what they have for you – only it is not Jesus of the Bible. In Contemplative Prayer, you are also not hearing Jesus of the Bible. You’re not hearing the Holy Spirit or God the Father. Trouble is that you’re hearing and feeling something..
Try and remember that TM has its roots in the Hindu religion and is an occult practice. Since Contemplative is synonymous with TM, the same can be said. It is very much part of occult practice despite how close you think you’re feeling to God when you do it. Some IHOPpers went into a convention of mediums/channelers and were accepted in as one of them – with it even being said that “their table is hot” (for readings). 1. What really has had me puzzled is where this Contemplative Prayer is in the Bible. If Mike Bickle is saying ”it’s in there” then that some major scripture twisting that he’s doing because it is not in there at all. There are plenty of places though where we’re told there will be great deception within the church right before Jesus returns to this earth. I would say IHOP fits into that spot without a doubt.

This term has recently surfaced again through the Lakeland Revival when Bentley had Paul Cain there. It is taken from the Latter Rain teachings, a false theology of the church in dominionism before Jesus returns. The promoters of this teaching believe they will be transformed and not see death. This is the change that the Bible teaches will happen by the rapture and resurrection 1Thess.4:16-17 (the resurrection is applied to those who died). The new breed (manifest sons of God) are those who are living. that will have the effect of the rapture without Jesus. This promotes a postmillennial view that is man-centered. Dominionism that is dependent on ” super apostles and prophets ” who establish the Kingdom on earth without Christ. Without the rapture or resurrection death is defeated. It confuses Christ with the Church and turns end time prophecies on their head. For many who espouse a Latter Rain teaching this makes perfect sense since they hace accepted God pouring out his spirit on all flesh NOW. The Rapture has been exchanged for church dominionism by the new prophets that want to implement a new government. Rick Joyner, one of these “Prophets,” states in his book the Harvest: “the doctrine of the Rapture was a great and effective ruse of the enemy to implant in the Church a retreat mentality . . . already this yoke has been cast off by the majority in the advancing church, and it will soon be cast off by all” The advancing church that Joyner speaks of are progressives in their theology (they have one). They are those who have changed their end time view of the church, instead they will be victorious on earth with Christ coming back to initiate it. Many may not use the same exact term they do believe it and use it in principle. Paul Cain taught a new breed, which was a manifest sons of god teaching from the Latter Rain heresy along with various other latter rain teachings from the 40’s. The new breed has been around since the 80’s and was popularized when the Kansas City prophets were incorporated into the Vineyard Church of John Wimber through Paul Cain. So Cain is the bridge to Branham, to the Vineyard and to the prophets that are under Peter Wagner today. The prophetic movement that flourished in the Vineyard introduced and popularized the five fold ministry. That Apostles and prophets are now to be at the helm to steer the Church. Prophecies such as “God has invited us to have a role in establishing this New Order of Christianity” were continually spoken by the prophets. The new breed of which Cain speaks about is found in hundreds of thousands of believers manifesting signs and wonders that will do greater works than at any other time in history, greater works than those of the apostles. This generation born would be a great End-Time supernatural Army that God would raise up to move in the “Prophetic”. Called by various names- Joel’s Army”, “New Breed”, “Elijah Company”, “Manchild” or “Overcomers” they will conquer opposition to the gospel and subdue the nations before Jesus would come. The
Manifest Sons of God interpretation of Rom.8 is that a certain group of overcomers will attain immortalization after coming to perfection under the authority of the latter-day apostles and prophets teachings (of which he is one). They will be able to move in and out of the supernatural and natural realms, even have the ability to walk through walls. This is Paul Cain’s explanation: “So my point is, that there will be a manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. And it won’t be this baloney that we’ve heard of in the past; I mean, there’s been a few people tried to walk through a wall like this over here and knocked their brain loose, but that’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about a true manifested son of God: if anyone walks through this wall over here, they’re not going to tell you about it- I mean, they’re just going to do it. And sons of God don’t tell you they’re sons of God, they’ll just show You! Amen!”‘ (Paul Cain, The New breed.) Bill Hamon a prophet under Wagner also promotes this new breed teaching “At that time the sons of God will be fully manifested on the earth. Widespread spiritual warfare will result with the sons of God doing battle with Satan and company, the non-Christian nations of this world will also be defeated. Once the earth has been subdued, Jesus will come back to earth and be given the Kingdom that has been won for Him by this “manchild company.” The Manifested Sons of God doctrine teaches that these sons will be equal to Jesus Christ: immortal, sinless, perfected sons who have partaken of the divine nature. They will have every right to be called gods and will be called gods” (Prophets and the Prophetic Movement Bill Hamon). I think this statement sums up the whole matter and shows us how completely unbiblical their teaching is. The prophets that were once under Wimber and are now associates of Peter Wagner and have been speaking of this for years. Those who are Latter Rain promoters are all in agreement. Paul Cain: “I want you to know he’s coming to the church before he comes FOR the church. He’s gonna perfect the Church so the church can be the Image, and be him, and be his representation.” (Paul Cain: Nov 88, Tape: “My Father’s House”)’ This New Breed teaching has been promoted for many years “It now appears that God is raising up a New Breed of leadership to do the ‘new thing’. This NEW BREED will be young and fresh with a pioneering spirit – whether chronologically young or old in age. Last year I had the opportunity to meet several young men whom I believe represents this NEW BREED of leadership … We invite you to learn more about Mike Bickle, a part of God’s NEW BREED for the’ 99s (FULLNESS FELLOWSHIP COMMUNIQUE Vol. 3, No. 4. April 1990) The Latter Rains “New Breed” are supermen, a race of Christians whose bodies will be transformed, not by the coming of the Lord, but by a secret coming that would have them overcome death. This new breed of Christians is what is called the manifest sons of God doctrine of the Latter Rain.“Not only will they not have diseases, they will also not die. They will have the kind of imperishable bodies that are talked about in the 15th chapter of Corinthians … this army is invincible. If you have intimacy with God, they can’t kill you.” (Paul Cain, “Joel’s Army,” 1990 cited in Documentation of the Aberrant Practices and Teachings of Kansas City Fellowship p. 218.) Both John Wimber and Jack Deere spoke of the invincibility of this army. Jack Deere says, ” they won’t be able to kill this army.” John Wimber said, “those in this army will have the ‘kind of anointing …his kind of power … anyone who wants to harm them must die. They would be empowered to do signs and wonders beyond anything we have seen In the mobilizing the prophetic conference Mike Bickle reiterates Cain’s vision: “The second thing is an unprecedented display of power -releasing signs and wonder s so far beyond the early church. The stadiums of the earth filled. I believe over a billion people coming in the great harvest. I believe the second message of the forerunners, the great harvest- a billion with signs and wonders greater than what the apostles did combined with what Moses did. I believe what Moses and the apostles did is gonna be combined and multiplied on a global level and it will be common to see the stadiums of the earth filled and a billion people coming to the Lord within an unprecedented display of power.
‘the forerunners”- plural. Meaning a great company, Joel’s army (many Elijah’s and other Bible names are applied) to bring in the end time harvest. They ignore believers being servants to evangelize the nations, instead, we need something GREATER. Called to identify the New Breed of men, Cain’s (and their) mission, was to initiate the “Endtime Ministry.” But the question is what end time ministry will they initiate? As Jesus warned us “many false prophets will rise up and deceive many”(Matt 24:11) and further in his series of warnings he stated v.24 “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”Jesus never spoke of an end time army of prophets that will do signs and wonders, he warned against this. Nevertheless this New Breed of people would be the most powerful people in the history of humanity. “Joel’s Army” individually manifest as Sons of God. Paul Cain: “No prophet or apostle ever lived equal the power of these individuals in this great army of the Lord in these last days. No one ever had it, not even Elijah, or Peter, or Paul or anyone else enjoyed the power that’s going to rest upon, uh, this, uh, great Army. Cain says of Joel’s Army (based on Joel 2): “I told you about … this recurring [35 year-old] vision I had…. The angel of the Lord said, ‘You’re standing at the crossroads of life. What do you see?’ And I saw a brilliantly lit billboard which reads, ‘Joel’s Army now in training.’ . . . .I believe one day soon Joel’s Army will be in training … until it graduates into the stadium …. But a right understanding of the plan of God for this generation brings this tremendous inclusion…. God’s offering to you, this present generation, a greater privilege than was ever offered any generation at any time from Adam clear down through the millennium.“ “I had a vision of you people coming from . . . a circle of maybe a hundred miles and I saw people coming from every major city within that circumference and a great conclave was taking place, and it was the training of Joel’s Army. . . . I believe that people are going to come together by the thousands and train for the Army of the Lord. Wouldn’t that be wonderful? I mean, that’s long overdue.”
Paul Cain was promised “One day he would be allowed to stand before a new breed of men and women leaders.” His waiting is over by pronouncing Todd Bentley the first of the new breed. May, 5 2008. Paul Cain: prays to the Father in the name of Jesus “I thank you that you have answered my prayer that you have let me live to see tokens of this revival are be involved in it in some way or a participant if possible AND LORD YOU HAVE NEVER HAS ALLOWED ME TO SAY THAT I HAVE MET THE NEW BREED, ABSOLUTELY- MET THE NEW BREED. And when you brought Todd Bentley and I together the angel of the Lord said “you have found what you are looking for,” this is a man without guile. Cain stutters in trying to pull together a bible example using the man up in the tree Zachais and is helped by Bentley and those on stage to realize it Nathaniel “behold Nathaniel in whom there is no guile. I couldn’t believe when people were criticizing Todd that surely had some kind of guile in him and the lord spoke to me as clearly as he has ever spoken before, and I’ve stood by the notables and the greats that had the greatest healing ministry of all times and I’ve never met anyone that has the integrity and the possibilities of leading this thing into a worldwide revival. And I just want to confer and bless whatever I can do,… I just place to myself to hear from the Lord and to transfer and to give to my brother who has given so much to others and soo much to me, everything you have ever deposited into my life that I didn’t know how to give away I’m giving it to my brother tonight to carry on this revival until the stadiums all over the world have been, uh… catching this, have been carriers of it and taking it from one end of the world to the other and thank you I’VE MET THE NEW BREED TONIGHT.” Bentley finished Paul Cain’s stay on the platform by saying to Paul Cain and his audience “We honor a great prophet of the Lord, may God anoint every new breed that’s out there tonight anoint them (repeats anoint them about 10 times) … raise up a new breed, raise up a healing army oh god, you said this day was coming a Joel’s army being released. Its here, its now, and we’re not going back.” False prophets Bob Jones and Paul Cain have proclaimed to Bentley that he was the first fruits of the New Breed that was prophesied to work mighty signs and wonders and fill stadiums to overflowing as fulfilling Paul Cain’s vision. Bobby Conner also writes something similar about Bentley. It has been my delight to serve on the board of Todd Bentley’s ministry advisors. I’ve been able to watch this young man from the early days of his ministry. God has placed an awesome anointing upon Todd’s life. Bill Hamon is one who has promoted the various teachings on the Latter Rain and John Eckhardt an apostle under Wagner also teaches about the new breed. At The National school of the prophets “For all over the earth there is a new breed being raised up. There was a new leadership coming into place and many men and women are taking their place in leadership and the apostles are rising and the prophets are rising…” “Open up your hearts, open up your spirits right now. Receive it.” “And the Lord said, “And each city and each region a new breed of prophetic and apostolic leaders shall be raised up and you shall begin to do what you could not do before and you shall begin to release my grace and my anointing upon the people” (National School Of The Prophets “Mobilizing The Prophetic Office” John Eckhardt – Friday, 5/12/00, – Session 12 Transcribed from audio). He writes in his book Moving in the Apostolic: “The Lord is raising up a new breed of believers with an endtimes apostolic and prophetic anointing to shake nations” ( Moving in the apostolic p.40 John Eckhardt) A new installment of leadership that we now see as the Apostles and prophets are to train and perfect the New Breed and bring in a shift, the “NEW ORDER” of government on the earth that will supposedly rule through the church. They want to see the Churches unite and come under the authority of their NEW Apostolic Network. As the new apostles’ and prophets’ words are to be obeyed just as the first century apostles.
Nowhere does the Bible mention a NEW BREED of people for the last days. According to the Scriptures we are all equal in faith, grace, having the Holy Spirit and have been given spiritual gifts that will be exercised by faith. The NEW BREED is one of the most dangerous and divisive doctrines. Besides being completely unbiblical, it is spiritual eliteism. Hitler obsessed himself with the spiritual idea of a NEW BREED of people, a NEW ORDER that would reign for 1,000 years and we see how that worked out. When great power lays in the hands of a few there is danger. It was early 1983, Bob Jones heard about a group of young people at a new church in the south Kansas City. After visiting them, he knew this was some of the “new breed” the Lord had told him about in the visions in 1976. Jones was used supernaturally to confirm the Word of the Lord to the leadership team. Bob Jones spoke of a NEW BREED: “The children are the best of all the generations that have ever been upon the face of the earth. . . those ELECTED SEEDS that will glorify Christ in the last days. .. they will move into things of the supernatural that no one has ever been in the Bible – They’ll move in it consistently. . . they themselves will be that generation that’s raised up to put death itself underneath their feet. . . . a church that has reached the full maturity of the god- man!“
Paul Cain “…contain the good of all the previous moves and much more, to lead the church of Jesus Christ into the greatest season of harvest, manifestation of power and glory and righteousness that the world has ever known.” Recently, Bob had a vision of the new breed coming forth.
The Spirit of Holiness coming forth is the divine nature of Christ.(
“When Heaven Touches Earth by Paul Cain:” “The coming move of God is going to be a lot different than I ever thought—and I’m sure it will be different than you thought, too. The Lord is going to move in a completely new way, unlike anything we have ever seen before.
It is good to look for precedents in Scripture and in church history, but many of the things that God will do in the days ahead are truly unprecedented. In fact, God has set somewhat of a precedent for doing unprecedented things. There never had been a precedent for a burning bush, but He used a burning bush as a powerful sign (see Exodus 3). Moses didn’t have any doctrinal or theological foundation to prepare him for his encounter with this burning bush. God simply put His glory on a bush that burned without being consumed, and Moses turned aside to see. Like the burning bush, the church will again shine with the glory of the Lord. Though the bush was merely an inanimate plant impregnated with God’s glory, the church will be a living body that is glorious beyond description. Like the burning bush, we will be a sign that people will turn aside to see. The holy radiation of God will drive out all kinds of illnesses in these last days, and it will be the number one cure for cancers, AIDS and all kinds of communicable diseases. God will once more do things that are unprecedented. He will do things that are different from anything He has ever done before.” (Morningstar Ministries So lets ignore that the Scripture states in Heb. 1:1-2: “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things” Lets ignore the continual revelation God gave to certain people throughout history until the final culmination, the Living word that became the Word, (66 books). Paul wrote that it is the Scripture “that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:17). Taking the Latter Rain position we would have to ignore the book of Revelation where God does tell us what will take place at the end. Instead we are to accept God will continue to give new revelation through these modern prophets and do miracles in ways completely unheard of before. Then the Bible is not complete and cannot be for us a measure of what is or is not from God. “As we see the day approaching, there’s going to be cleansing … there’s going to be a purging coming forth … and… and God’s new breed will come forth …” ? (Bob Jones, Kansas City Prophets, Vineyard International). A cleansing, that is what the Occultists (Alice Bailey type new agers) call it that are trying to reshape the world into the new world order. There is an ongoing war for the church. Everyone is involved in this whether they like it or not, you cannot sit this one out. Who will you side with? The new apostles and prophets that promise Biblical distortions or those who want to adhere to the faith that was delivered to us all through the Bible. Considering that Paul Cain pronounced Bentley as the new breed without any protest from his spiritual comrades we should assume he identified it correctly. This means their whole teaching on this matter is closed as Bentley had the plug pulled on him by God himself. Lakeland was used to promote something far more reaching and it was halted. But the Latter Rain movement is aggressive and will not let this failure deter their goals. Soon it will be restarted. The question the body of Christ needs to ask themselves is if they have learned anything from this latest debacle. God by His grace may not intervene this next time, He may let the deception runs its course. May God’s mercy be greater than his judgment.

The truth about apostles, authority and the kingdom of God
Not long ago an international apostolic movement held its regional summit in an American city. The main speaker was one of this movement’s leading figures and had chosen to speak on the topic of honor. Within minutes of beginning his address, he began boasting about his numerous cars, multimillion-dollar home and 40 ministries that tithed to him. He exhorted those assembled that if they were true apostolic fathers, they should receive similar honor from their sons and daughters. He then proceeded to talk to them about their clothes: Suits off the rack were fine for preaching in a normal meeting, but ministering at a leader’s conference demanded tailor-made.
It’s sad enough that anyone representing Jesus would be so foolish and misled. Yet even more troubling is that no one had enough integrity to stand up and confront him. Sadly, incidents like this have become so commonplace in recent years that it’s exposed our current misunderstanding of true leadership in God’s kingdom. Do we see apostles as the top of the leadership pyramid? More churches around the world are using phrases such as “coming into apostolic alignment” and “coming into divine order” while believing that such hierarchical order is the kingdom of God. But is it?
Of Kings, Priests and Prophets
“In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” ” —Judges 21:25
This verse is typically interpreted in the context of a problem to be solved. We lack order and therefore need some form of authority to keep us in alignment. In reality, these are just two statements. It was true that there was no king in Israel; it was also true that everyone was doing whatever he pleased.
Scripture makes it obvious that God didn’t want to solve the problem by appointing a king. When Israel demanded a king, 1 Samuel 8:7 shows His response to Samuel: “They have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.”
How did God rule over His people? He had the priests to teach them the law and the prophets to confront them when they did not keep it. God desired obedience through free conviction rather than any form of coercion. He was willing to accept the possibility of chaos rather than accept the “order” enforced by a king. God didn’t want a mediator between Himself and His people.
Submission to a man, even a “man of God,” does not place you in a theocracy. At best, it places you in a benevolent dictatorship.
God’s desire was a theocracy for which priest and prophet were to provide the foundation. He never intended to make any man a king over His people!
That theocracy shipwrecked upon the reality of the old heart, which could not keep God’s ways. That is why both Jeremiah (31:31-34) and Ezekiel (36:25-27) prophesied about the covenant of the new heart upon which God would write His law, in which God would place His Spirit and by which God would cause us to walk in His ways.
The good news encompassing the kingdom of God is that you can know the direct, personal rule of the King in both your individual life and in corporate life. It is the good news of grace that your heart can be forgiven and clean to desire the ways of God, hear the intimate direction of His voice and receive the power of the Spirit to walk with Him.
Removing Our Original Authority
” “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.” ” —Matthew 23:8-11
Those words are in the context of Jesus pronouncing “Woe!” to the religious establishment regarding their lust for power, position and title. But the underlying point isn’t so much the destruction caused by the lust for power as the reality that when we rule over others, we are taking a place that God has reserved solely for Himself.
Keep in mind, Jesus never gave any person authority over another person. He gave us authority over sickness and demons and asked us to rule ourselves by dying to ourselves. Those who do so will have functional leadership through example and by invitation, but they will always know themselves as servants.
Restoration movements frequently come and go in which the main emphasis is the authority of leaders over God’s people and where the mark of “spirituality” becomes submission. Granted, some good things happen in those movements. But whether we call ourselves apostles, prophets, pastors and teachers or popes, cardinals, bishops and priests, it makes no difference. We’re building a religious system based upon man, and we’re taking away the authority of the King. The fruit of this is always a cult of leadership privilege and materialism sprinkled with moral failure.
Divine order, understood as the “right” arrangement of leaders in hierarchy, always produces death. This is simply the pride of man in action. Too often we believe that if we simply create the right order then we’ll be able to yield the life of God. The truth is, it’s the authentic church—not a chain of command—that produces the life of God. There’s a big difference!
A Kingdom Built for Friends
Jesus’ very life provides a perfect example of this fundamental difference. His “leadership model,” if you will, as described in John 15:13-15, is crystal clear: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.”
The One who legitimately could claim all position and title did not do so. He looked into the eyes of men who would soon betray Him and called them His friends. He absolutely and for all time destroyed any possibility of any hierarchy ever representing His kingdom. Skyward-reaching pyramids are for dead people. Yet before the living throne of God is a sea of glass—a mass of flatness in which we all, as brothers and sisters, stand before the One who calls us friend.
You cannot be friends in a hierarchy. Those on the same level are always competitors. Relationships above or below always involve power and control.
Yet the New Testament was written to friends. That is why it has almost 60 “one another” verses that contain 30 “one another” commands, including one about “submitting to one another in the fear of God” (Eph. 5:21). It’s why there are only six verses that ask for recognition of functional leadership—and each of those is in the context of the “one another” reality. First Peter 5:5 (“Be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility”) is normative.
When we grasp the depths to which God desires to establish this kingdom based on friendship and” authentic” submission, then the words and example of Jesus as narrated in John 16:7 become even more startling: “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”
The disciples could not imagine anything worse than Jesus going away. Jesus, the greatest leader who ever walked on earth, was telling them it was better for them if He went away! And we think ” we” are important, indispensable even? Jesus knew it would be better for His disciples to have the inward leading of the Holy Spirit than even His flesh and blood leadership. He was willing to trust all upon the ability of the Holy Spirit to lead people into the truth. Given this, how can we who claim to be followers of Jesus, ever dare to build leadership cults?
Active Citizens
As already shown in John 15, Jesus indicated that with friendship comes some basic responsibilities … and that is where the problem arises for most believers. Often people want freedom, but not the responsibilities of freedom that come with it. We would rather have a king tell us what to do. (Simultaneously, there are always those among us who want to be king and refuse to call this codependent arrangement the kingdom of God.)
God’s kingdom, however, is established among His people. And the authority of that kingdom is distributed through each member of the body as we accept the responsibilities of freedom and …
1) Seek the King for ourselves. That means you become a self-feeder. You let His grace lead your life. As Dallas Willard says in “The Divine Conspiracy“, “You either live by grace or addiction.”
2) Fulfill the “one another” commands with a few. If you cannot be the church with your spouse and speak the truth with two or three, your public worship is a show.
3) Disciple our own children. If you cannot disciple your own kids, how can you disciple the nations? If you do not have relational integrity with your own children, with whom will you have it?
4) Multiply our relationship with the King through making disciples. The basic command of the King is to make disciples. This is not about events or programs. Disciples are made by a relational process based in the transparency and humility of doing the “one another” stuff together.
5) Speak the truth to one another so that we might grow up. Accountability in the kingdom is not hierarchical. It is primarily to God and then horizontally to one another.
“And He Gave Some to Be Apostles …”
Up to this point, we’ve addressed the nature and “divine order” of God’s kingdom. And although you may believe we’ve abandoned our starting point of questioning the pre-eminence given to apostles in today’s churches, we haven’t. In fact, everything we have covered factors into the role of a true apostle.
When Jesus established Himself as the victorious King of His kingdom, it redefined apostleship. Today those of us who desire to be citizens of His kingdom need to acquire a New Testament understanding of what an apostle is. The idea of a spiritual chief executive officer at the top of the religious food chain is simply wrong.
We know the word ” apostle” means “sent one,” but many may not realize that Paul’s use of the term is in the Greco-Roman business context regarding slaves. In the day in which Paul wrote, there was a fixed hierarchy among slaves from business directors down to those who did manual chores. The most expendable slave, and thus the least honored, was the “sent one.” Why? Travel was often dangerous, so those sent on errands near or far were those whose loss would “matter” the least. Putting “apostle” on your business card then would be like putting “dishwasher” on your card now. Clearly, it carried a different connotation than what we’ve made the term into today. Yet in the opening verse of his letter to the Romans, Paul identifies himself first as a “bondservant” or “slave” of Jesus Christ, and then one who has been “called to be an apostle.” (First Corinthians 4:8-10 and 2 Corinthians 2:4-10 read properly in this light.)
In John 13, Jesus modeled what the “lowest” household slave would do. He instructed His disciples that this was their paradigm. Christ was free to serve because He knew “that the father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God” (v. 3). His disciples were to emulate this pattern, secure in their friendship with the One who sent Jesus. They were to display their lack for nothing by becoming the “least of these.” On the contrary, our need for position and honor is a testimony to our inward poverty.
Our examples are not Saul, David and Solomon. Our examples are Jesus and Paul. Jesus set the standard and gave us the paradigm for His kingdom, in which we call Him King and friend. Paul followed this not by becoming the top religious administrator who went around collecting churches, holding conferences and taking offerings. His calling as apostle wasn’t the glamorized ideal many of us carry in our minds.
Paul was simply the first to venture into new territory to found a group of disciples, take the promised persecution in their place and, after these disciples were established, leave them to the Holy Spirit. He didn’t stay to play king. And he certainly left no record of teaching his sons about the importance of tailor-made suits.

A U.S. soldier on active duty in Iraq has called President Obama an “impostor” in a statement in which he affirmed plans to join as plaintiff in a challenge to Obama’s eligibility to be commander in chief.
The statement was publicized by California attorney Orly Taitz who, along with her Defend Our Freedom Foundation, is working on a series of legal cases seeking to uncover Obama’s birth records and other documents that would reveal whether he meets the requirements of the U.S. Constitution.
“As an active-duty officer in the United States Army, I have grave concerns about the constitutional eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama to hold the office of president of the United States,” wrote Scott Easterling in a “to-whom-it-may-concern” letter.
Obama “has absolutely refused to provide to the American public his original birth certificate, as well as other documents which may prove or disprove his eligibility,” Easterling wrote. “In fact, he has fought every attempt made by concerned citizens in their effort to force him to do so.”
Taitz told WND she had advised Easterling to obtain legal counsel before making any statements regarding the commander-in-chief, but he insisted on moving forward. His contention is that as an active member of the U.S. military, he is required to follow orders from a sitting president, and he needs – on pain of court-martial – to know that Obama is eligible.

Taitz said other legal cases questioning Obama’s eligibility filed by members of the military mostly have included retired officers, and courts several times have ruled they don’t have standing to issue their challenge.
Easterling, however, is subject to enemy fire and certainly would have a reason to need to know the legitimacy of his orders, she argued.
“Until Mr. Obama releases a ‘vault copy’ of his original birth certificate for public review, I will consider him neither my Commander in Chief nor my President, but rather, a usurper to the Office – an impostor,” his statement said.
Easterling said he joined the Army at age 40 after working in Iraq as a contractor.
“I chose to work … to support my troops and then left that lucrative position when the Army raised its maximum enlistment age to 40. Upon completion of basic training, I entered Officer Candidate School and commissioned as a 2LT in August 2007. After completing the subsequent basic officer leadership courses, I was assigned to Ft. Knox and shortly thereafter deployed to Balad, Iraq,” he wrote.
“I implore all service-members and citizens to contact their senators and representatives and demand that they require Mr. Obama prove his eligibility. Our Constitution and our great nation must not be allowed to be disgraced,” he wrote.
Taitz said Easterling is among the plaintiffs she is assembling for a new legal action over Obama’s eligibility. Others include a list of state lawmakers who also would be required in their official position to follow orders of the president.
“My conviction is such that I am compelled to join Dr. Orly Taitz’s lawsuit, as a plaintiff, against Mr. Obama. As a citizen, it pains me to do this, but as an officer, my sworn oath to support and defend our Constitution requires this action,” he said.
Easterling was “saluted” in a forum on Taitz’ website.
“Lt. Easterling, As a retired US Army SFC, I salute you sir as a true American patriot and hero! Thank you for your unselfish service to our country. It is rare to find someone today with such moral courage to do the right thing regardless of repercussions,” said one contributor.
Said another, “For your voluntary service to our country, we owe you a debt we can never pay.”
As WND reported yesterday, U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., said during a meeting with constituents in Cullman County he has never seen proof the new president was born in Hawaii.
“Well, his father was Kenyan and they said he was born in Hawaii, but I haven’t seen any birth certificate,” Shelby said. “You have to be born in America to be president.”
Shelby’s office later stated the senator is confident of Obama’s vetting process, although it did not elaborate.
WND has reported on multiple legal challenges to Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen.” The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.”
Some of the lawsuits question whether he was actually born in Hawaii, as he insists. If he was born out of the country, Obama’s American mother, the suits contend, was too young at the time of his birth to confer American citizenship to her son under the law at the time.
Other challenges have focused on Obama’s citizenship through his father, a Kenyan subject to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom at the time of his birth, thus making him a dual citizen. The cases contend the framers of the Constitution excluded dual citizens from qualifying as natural born.
Here is a partial listing and status update for some of the cases over Obama’s eligibility:
New Jersey attorney Mario Apuzzo has filed a case on behalf of Charles Kerchner and others alleging Congress didn’t properly ascertain that Obama is qualified to hold the office of president.
Philip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania Democrat, demanded that the courts verify Obama’s original birth certificate and other documents proving his American citizenship. Berg’s latest appeal, requesting an injunction to stop the Electoral College from selecting the 44th president, was denied.

Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes headlines a list of people filing a suit in California, in a case handled by the United States Justice Foundation, that asks the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state’s 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. The case is pending, and lawyers are seeking the public’s support.
Chicago attorney Andy Martin sought legal action requiring Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle to release Obama’s vital statistics record. The case was dismissed by Hawaii Circuit Court Judge Bert Ayabe.
Lt. Col. Donald Sullivan sought a temporary restraining order to stop the Electoral College vote in North Carolina until Barack Obama’s eligibility could be confirmed, alleging doubt about Obama’s citizenship. His case was denied.
In Ohio, David M. Neal sued to force the secretary of state to request documents from the Federal Elections Commission, the Democratic National Committee, the Ohio Democratic Party and Obama to show the presidential candidate was born in Hawaii. The case was denied.
In Washington state, Steven Marquis sued the secretary of state seeking a determination on Obama’s citizenship. The case was denied.
In Georgia, Rev. Tom Terry asked the state Supreme Court to authenticate Obama’s birth certificate. His request for an injunction against Georgia’s secretary of state was denied by Georgia Superior Court Judge Jerry W. Baxter.
California attorney Orly Taitz has brought a case, Lightfoot vs. Bowen, on behalf of Gail Lightfoot, the vice presidential candidate on the ballot with Ron Paul, four electors and two registered voters.
